    Budhist Temple – Auckland

    Date:  2017
    Client: Budhist Temple – Auckland
    Dealer: AV Expression
    Equipment: Mipro Wireless Microphone

    1 x ACT74 Wide Band Quad Receiver

    4 x ACT70HC rechargable hand held mic

    2 x MP80 recharging stations

    2 x AT70Wa Omni Directional extension aerials

A Budhist Temple in Auckland recently got a full upgrade to their AV system and along with a new DSP, amps and speakers from Muzzi at AV Expression, the revamp also included some new Mipro wireless mics.

AV Expression chose to go with the Mipro ACT74 True Diversity Wide Band receiver and 4 x ACT70HC rechargeable hand held mics. The system includes 2 x MP80 charging stations (each can take two of the ACT70HC’s plus two AT70Wa omni directional extension aerials to allow the clients to room around the site without drop outs.

The wideband system was chosen, in part, due to its ability to scan 72MHz with over 400 preset channels to cope with the very crowded Auckland RF band. The Auto Scan function allows quick search for an interference-free working channel and the world’s first ACT™ function provides precise and rapid frequency sync to the transmitters.

The ACT7 series also offers the ability to control and manage the system via remote software and also a DANTE option for interfacing directly into the LAN network to other DANTE enabled devices.

The system is reliable and sounds great.

    • Whistling Sisters – Wellington

By pav | Comments are Closed

Whistling Sisters is one of the most interesting bars around Wellington. Situated in the centre of town, this Craft Beer Brewery has an amazing range of beers and ciders brewed on site. Their sound system is based around an Akai reel-to-reel tape machine as the main audio source, which is placed in prime position in the bar. The brief was for a stereo hi-fi style system so designed using a number of FBT Project660 6.5″/1″wall speakers, complemented by CLA208SA dual 8″ subwoofers to extend the low frequencies. The results matched the high end brews they serve up everyday!

    • H&M – Wellington

By pav | Comments are Closed

The new H&M store in Wellington is a very welcome addition as the brand grows across New Zealand. Featuring a big and bright store concept with a focus on sound as an important part of the ambience. The H&M brand is unique as it calls for a much better sound system specification than traditional stores. Using a two way 6.5″ ceiling speaker with additional 10″ ceiling subs, the sound system is more Front of House than the usual muted BGM systems. Provision Technologies were tasked with the installation of the sound system and the end result was fantastic…
